An exclusive collection of one hundred apartments, together with a small number of stunning 3 bedroom mews houses, all set within the heart of the historical town of Coulsdon.

A wholly private scheme of over 250 apartments, comprising 4 separate buildings. The buildings are of contemporary design by award winning Architects Burwell Deakins Architects and range in height from 10 to 18 storeys.
The demolition of the existing buildings and the design and build of 99 mixed tenure flats in 4 - 8 storey blocks.
Durkan completed the £71m development which included partly converting and altering the existing building and erecting new buildings ranging in height between two and eight storeys.
The new construction provided 6,742 square metres of commercial space which includes a doctor’s surgery, a cafe and retail units; along with over 470 residential units with heating and hot water all provided by a communial plant room.
This development, in the heart of Southend-on-Sea is a major mixed-use development comprising of a 561 bed student Hall of Residence for the University of Essex, retail space and a 312 space double storey basement public car park for Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.
In August 2010 the development was completed on budget and a month earlier than programmed with a total delivery time of only 19 months.

A new three-storey youth centre including a boxing gym with changing rooms and a sauna, social lounges, games hall with café, training, meeting and homework rooms, music laboratory, recital suite, health counselling suite and all supporting services.
The building also has two large interlinked ‘box forms’ reaching 14 metres high to provide performance space. A central atrium is the main focal point to the building, and runs the full height of the building. The project has been delivered to achieve BREEAM Excellent standard.
The scheme is constructed close to the development of Langdon Park School, and a very close working relationship enabled both projects to be successfully delivered.
